We learn that Southeast Asia are facing numerous social issues across the region. It leads us to meet with individuals, communities and organisations that fight to overcome the issues, and learn that their journey faces many challenges. The main challenge is the lack of support ecosystem to spread awareness, influence people, and earn sustainable fund to support their activities. All of their causes are equally important – sustainable environment, women empowerment, education and many fundamental causes that will benefit our society.
We are moved by the facts and see it as our calling to act. Therefore in 2018, The People of Asia was created. The platform started off by publishing articles to create awareness on social issues. In the following year, we created Social Market to address bigger challenges by developing an ecosystem as the way for communities and organisations to earn necessary support and extend their reach to the society.
We hope to benefit the communities and organisations with our platform and influence greater society to actively support social causes.
