There are two main roles in the context of beauty. Physical and internal beauty. Physical or outer beauty considers what we can see from outside, our appearance, or how we look. While the internal or inner beauty is what comes within. We can not see, but we can feel, and it can reflect our true character from the inside.

When we are talking about inner beauty, we stumble across an iconic proverb:

‘True beauty comes from within’

This statement leads to the idea of inner beauty from Plato, the Athenian philosopher, that identifies an inwardly beautiful person is a moral person. Even though inner beauty is closely connected to moral, but it is not only about moral goodness. Intelligence, humor, appreciation, and optimism also contribute to inner beauty.

Inner beauty is a gift, those who are naturally born with this sweet disposition are truly blessed. But do not worry, the beauty of inner beauty is that anyone can learn to obtain it. We just need to work on it. There are so many ways to learn, start from getting to know the aspects, and practice it.

Accept, Respect and Appreciate

Having a better understanding of yourself is a blessing. Not everyone always knows what they want, and that’s OK. Put more thoughts and asking questions to yourself will help you know your character. But remember, answer it with honesty, it will bring more insight for you to accept and respect yourself, even if you don’t like the answer. The more you can respect yourself the more you can appreciate your good and bad. Keep the focus on the good deeds you would like to achieve and you will know how to handle them nicely and it will shine your beauty.

Gratitude and Good Affirmation

There are so many reasons to feel grateful. Try to dwell things you take for granted. The blue sky, the sunshine, the green grass, your blinking eyes, or every second of your breath. All of them and many more are worth thanking. Feeling gratitude increases optimism reduces pain and fatigue. Gratitude also involves the willingness to acknowledge the good that the people around you do with kind words. The kind words also work for you by keeping the good affirmation will make the better and complete states of yourself. They are like mantras which boosts your inner beauty.

Motivation Behind the Action

Motivation is coming from inside. It affects the consequences, although not always directly proportional. It is crucial for attributing inner beauty. If a mere egoistic become the reason a person acts good, it does not completely represent the inner beauty. Other people who don’t know the reason might consider it as an inwardly beautiful action. But the true inner beauty comes from a good reason as well. So, train yourself to do good for good.

Sleep, Talk, Sit, Walk

Basic activities must be carried out properly and adequately. Start from your sleeping time. Getting enough sleep will make you fresh and bring confidence to you. Show your confidence even when you are sitting, talking, and walking. Maintain the best posture by throwing your shoulders back and hold your head while you sit is not only good for health but also your mindset too. And you will feel relax expressing your thoughts through words and gestures. When you are walking, remember to keep the pace steady, anything gets your heart rate up and move your body, you get a rush of endorphins. These help you feel great inside and outside.

Smile, Laugh and be happy

Smile is contagious in a good way. When you smile to other people they tend to do the same. Telling the humor and make people laugh also the same thing. Smile and laugh are a simple form of happiness. And happiness is the source of true inner beauty. So you just spread the happiness and radiant your inner beauty at the same time.

Think, Look, and Be Beautiful

Think beautiful is all about positivity. how you adhere to the moral and act morally, or how you use your knowledge to spread kindness with the good cause. To look beautiful is not about the appearance it should show the transformation of energy into a form that people can see. from the smile, the cultured words, and respectful manner. When you can unite all that good vibes then you are beautiful.
