Malaysian police have confirmed the arrest of a man alleged of sexually grooming teenage girls. The arrest was made at the suspect’s house.
He is being held on allegations of sexually grooming under-aged girls, whom he met via charity groups and churches he volunteered at. Three police reports have been lodged against the suspect to-date, with more victims expected to come forward.
The suspect was first exposed when William Cheah, the founder of a famous charity organisation, Kembara Kitchen, posted on his facebook page, regarding an incident involving one of the volunteers.
Ever since then, 15 more women have stepped forward to recount their encounters with the 36-year-old suspect, involving girls as young as 14-years-old. Victims mentioned being traumatised from the man’s stalking, harassment and invitations for sex.
