The Indonesian National Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team confirmed the results of the identification of one JT-610 passenger body, namely Jannatun Shintya Dewi (female).
The confirmation was announced after a match of the results of forensic and ante-mortem tests with DNA data that had previously been given by the family to the Indonesian National Police’s DVI team.
Lion Air officially handed over the deceased body of Jannatun Shintya Dewi to the family through a ceremony which took place at Bhayangkara R. Said Sukanto Hospital (POLRI Hospital) on Wednesday. The body will be flown to Surabaya on Thursday (01/11) at 05.15 WIB.
Lion Air expressing deep condolences to all the family and friends of the Jannatun Shintya Dewi. In this case, Lion Air will support the things needed by the family, including giving waiting money to the family of IDR 5,000,000, grief money of IDR 25,000,000 and compensation for death according to PM 77 of 2011.
The DVI POLRI team is also carrying out an in-depth identification process covering forensics and DNA testing.
